The ideal candidate for the “Club Bursary” needed to exhibit a number of life skills and be able to represent
it in a number of ways. Amuso scored highest.
Amuso, who will be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Office and Information Management at Makerere University Business school, thanked the organizers of Miss Uganda 2004 for putting together an event that has provided her with the opportunity to live up to her full potential.
Amuso’s mother said while all children are born with different talents, it is a parent’s duty to allow their children to apply their creativity or individual talents
to succeed. She thanked especially
Sylvia Owori for making sure that she as a parent was involved in every
step of the process that saw Fiona emerge the bursary winner. She encouraged other parents to do the same.
“This sponsorship is of mutual benefit to Fiona and Nile Breweries Ltd. It enhances the image of the “Club Brand” and adds value to the continued growth of the brand,” Nile Breweries Wanyoto said.
“She becomes an “Ambassador” and will be in the public eye, a person that her family and her sponsors can be proud of,” he said.
